DATA RECOVERY / SERVICE 06

Computer Data Recovery

Not every case is a dramatic hardware failure — corrupted file systems, failed operating system updates and accidental deletion are just as common, and often have a faster, cheaper recovery path than physical repair. If the drive itself is clicking or not detected, see failed hard drive diagnosis.

01

Initial diagnostic

We determine whether the fault is logical (file system, partition, software) or physical (hardware failure) — this changes both the approach and the cost.

02

Logical recovery first where applicable

File system corruption, failed updates and accidental deletion are often recoverable without any physical intervention.

03

Physical recovery path where needed

Where the underlying drive has failed, we move to the same drive-level recovery process used for standalone hard drives and SSDs.

04

Verified handover

Recovered files are checked against what you're expecting to see before the case is closed.

A computer that won't boot isn't always a lost cause — boot failures are very often a logical fault with the operating system, not the underlying drive. Start a case on the contact page, or see the full data recovery services overview.
